From the manufacturer: "We put on 130 feet of extension cord on the EC6-100, there’s room for more, but we don’t recommend going to much further as it weakens your core rating. Our remotes come with 105-110 feet of cable, that fills it up nicely, there’s also room for more but some rule applies. "

What is the difference between EC3-100 and EC6-100?

EC6 is 6 conductor, allowing for the usage of BOTH a 3 wire remote and 3 wire extension cord simultaneously, or the usage of a 6 wire remote with onboard power.

EC3 is a 3 conductor, allowing for the usage of either a 3 wire remote or a 3 wire extension cord.

Due to the minor price difference, we usually always recommend the EC6.
